This KOA has been a favorite of ours for a number of years. We came here together on our first trip in August 2021 with our Hideout. We stayed in #22. The wifi was great and it was our first experience in trailering in over 25 years. Over the years we have come to this location a couple of times a year. Usually in April and October.

This trip (September 2025) we are staying in #49. Our favorite is #54 but it was taken this trip. We love pulling through on any of sites 48-54 and looking at the Wasatch mountains directly behind us. Across from the site is a large hay field. To the west is a view of Willard Bay and Antelope Island. Coming in the late summer / early fall is nice because of the foliage on the trees. The grass areas between trailers are nice but are currently plagued with goat head stickers. More than anything, the staff at this KOA are friendly and very accommodating. They do their best to move things around to get us into our favorite spots.

Location and Accessibility

The Brigham City KOA's location is great. Situated just off Interstate 15, it provides easy access for travelers. Whether you’re coming from Salt Lake City, only 70 miles away, or heading north to Idaho, the campground is incredibly convenient. Surrounded by stunning mountain views, it’s only about 30 minutes from Bear Lake and a short drive to the Wasatch-Cache National Forest. This makes it easy for visitors to partake in outdoor activities like hiking, biking, and fishing.

Amenities and Activities

Bathrooms

These bathrooms have not had a significant make-over in years. While they are a 5 on the 1-10 scale (10 being the best), sometimes one more coat of paint just isn't the answer. I have to say one of my favorite things that has not changed over the years is the piped-in music. KBER provides 80's rock. On Sunday's they tone it back to a softer side on FM100.

Camp Store

The camp store is a handy spot stocked with essentials. Need firewood, snacks, or camping gear? You will likely find it here. Plus, local souvenirs are available, perfect for capturing memories from your trip. On a personal note, plan on paying a considerable surcharge for convenience.

Recreation

If you're looking to stay active during your stay, the campground features a swimming pool, playground, and sports courts. Kids will appreciate the playground, while adults can enjoy games like horseshoes or volleyball. The swimming pool is especially inviting during warm summer days, providing a refreshing break.

Organized Activities

Throughout the summer months, the Brigham City KOA hosts exciting organized activities. Movie nights, crafts, and themed weekends offer great opportunities to engage with fellow campers and make unforgettable memories. Each evening they have all-you-can-eat ice cream for $6. It is good ice cream from a local creamery.

Your Next Adventure Awaits / Especially in the Fall

In conclusion, the Brigham City KOA is a good choice for anyone wanting to experience the natural beauty of northern Utah. Thanks to its convenient location, diverse range of accommodations, and extensive amenities, it caters to all types of campers. If you are looking for a relaxed camping experience, Brigham City KOA has something to offer.

Coming in August or September will give you the opportunity to feast on some of the best peaches on earth. Growers on Utah's Fruit Way provide a half dozen varieties of peaches from Early Elberta, Monroes, Hale, Sun-crest, and Angeles. Of course other fruits and vegetables are available all summer.

Our mid-September taste test. The Angeles took first place.
